Deena Kimiatek

As an educator and practitioner, Deena feels empowered to improve the quality of her patients’ lives, and join them on their wellness journey. With an extensive background in Women’s Health, she brings both the knowledge and experience that are essential to overcoming the myriad of challenges that patients face with sensitivity and compassion.

The field of Women’s Health became Deena Kimiatek’s passion upon graduating from the University of Hartford, when she took a course that would change her life. Learning how to help underserved populations through a holistic treatment approach empowered her to improve the quality of life of so many patients. She thoroughly enjoys the challenge of a difficult diagnosis, as well as the journey of treating patients prenatally and then following up with them post-partum.

Deena has spent the past 12 years treating Women’s Health and Orthopedic conditions in Chicago, IL where she most recently practiced at Northwestern Medical Group in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Urogynecology. While in Chicago she helped to establish Women’s Health programs, lectured on women’s health for the University of Illinois in Chicago DPT program, and participated in educational activities for patients at Prentice Women’s Hospital.

A competitive runner and triathlete, Deena has participated in races across the nation, typically finishing in the top 20% of her age group. In her free time, she enjoys running along the Hudson River with her husband and 1-year-old daughter.
