I can hardly believe that three and half years have passed since I took the plunge and started my own business – it had always seemed outside of the realm of possibility. When I launched 5 Point Physical Therapy, I vowed to keep things easy by subleasing my space – and here we are now in a gorgeous new office designed to be a soothing space for both patient and therapist, to support the process of healing and restoration. Our clients have a holistic experience that may incorporate Pilates-based exercise, massage therapy, acupuncture, and craniosacral therapy. They enter an environment that calms their nerves – from the front desk to treatment to aftercare, they are able to feel safe, comfortable and understood. I am in love with the business I have created and I know we are giving our patients exactly what they need to achieve their best quality of life, whether they’re 11 years old or coming up on 111.
The launch of our new website marks a huge milestone for us. I had a clear vision of exactly what I wanted and this is it: a clean, simple way of communicating to the world exactly who we are and what we do, with a comprehensive list of resources and tips for achieving whole-being health.
Not only are we celebrating our beautiful site, we’re also breaking in our brand new BLOG. I am probably not going to be regaling you with long-winded technical articles focused on of all the newest research. I am, however, going to share with you my honest opinions and always keep things SIMPLE! I wish I could just magically import the thoughts and observations of amazing colleagues whose views echo my own – for example, the fact that we are way more than just kegels, or the reasons we look at the patient from both a pelvic and orthopedic standpoint.
This site re-launch enables us to reach even more patients in need of therapeutic care – and to educate our community on a variety of topics, using real-life examples from our own experiences. If you have a personal story to contribute to our blog, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
