A fascination with sports and the human body led Kara Fanelli out of a career in marketing and into the realm of pelvic floor dysfunction – an area she aptly perceived to be under-recognized by the physical therapy community. Connecting one-on-one with her patients, she creates trusting, open relationships that lead to healing and happiness.
As an educator and practitioner, Deena feels empowered to improve the quality of her patients’ lives, and join them on their wellness journey. With an extensive background in Women’s Health, she brings both the knowledge and experience that are essential to overcoming the myriad of challenges that patients face with sensitivity and compassion.
It’s been over 20 years since physical therapist Debbie Landau chose her expertise in women’s health and pelvic floor issues. Since then, she’s continued to be powerfully motivated by the transformations she can help produce in her clients’ lives. Debbie works out of our NJ satellite office only.
Strong conviction, life experience, compassion and empathy have been the main drivers in Gwen’s decision to dedicate her career to woman’s health care and wellness. Through experience and training she has learned there are many important rehabilitation concepts that are useful for both pregnant and post-partum woman to consider on their journey to maintain and return to fitness and wellness not typically addressed in the traditional medical model.
