Jessica Nielson is a graduate of New York University, where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. It was during her time at NYU that Jessica discovered her passion for pelvic floor physical therapy. She is a natural empath and is passionate about reducing the stigma associated with pelvic floor dysfunctions and empowering individuals to seek the care they need.
Originally from Salt Lake City, she attended the University of Utah for her undergraduate studies, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a Fitness and Wellness Specialist Focus. In addition to her Doctorate degree, Jessica is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Jessica completed her Doctoral clinical affiliations in pelvic rehabilitation and has completed continuing education through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. In addition to her Doctorate degree, Jessica is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Jessica is also a HSS Hip Rehabilitation Preservation Certified Clinician through the Hospital for Special Surgery treating patients with hip labral tears, hip tendinitis/tendonosis, Cam/Pincer impingements associated with FAI, pre/post-op PAO, post-op hernia repair, osteoarthritis and Total Hip Arthroplasty.
In her free time, Jessica loves to travel the world and try new cuisines. Growing up in Utah has instilled a love for the outdoors including hiking, snowboarding, golf, and volleyball. On the weekends she enjoys spending time with her fiance and their slobbery english bulldog!
