Meet Stacey Futterman: Pelvic Health Specialist & Clinic Founder

My History

Equal parts direct and compassionate, Stacey Futterman Tauriello is a nationally recognized pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapist dedicated to helping people reclaim their lives from chronic pain and dysfunction. She is the founder of 5 Point Physical Therapy and cofounder of Not Your Mother’s Menopause. Stacey is passionate about advancing conversations in pelvic health, menopause, and whole-body wellness while providing patients with expert, individualized care.

Stacey’s journey into pelvic health began in the late 1990s, when she was introduced to pelvic floor therapy at a time when it was rarely discussed in traditional PT education. Fascinated by this essential yet overlooked area of care, she pursued advanced training in incontinence, pelvic pain, prenatal and postpartum recovery, male pelvic conditions, colorectal dysfunction, and sexual pain. Over the years, she has blended her expertise in orthopedic sports medicine with pelvic health, creating a truly comprehensive approach to treatment.

Stacey has been featured in multiple media outlets, including the NBC Today Show Motherhood series, CBS New York, and other national platforms. She has also shared her personal experience with postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction, further fueling her mission to break down stigma and bring pelvic health into the mainstream.

“Quite honestly, Stacey changed my life. Not only did she give me the phenomenal care, answers I could not find elsewhere, and hope that some day I would live pain free, but she also treated me with patience and kindness unmatched by any other physical therapist I have encountered. Stacey really listens and works with her patients to problem solve even the seemingly impossible. I had chronic vaginal pain for two years before I started physical therapy with Stacey…I can now say that I am virtually pain free. Stacey has given me my life back.”
